Interesting that The Hermit card should show up today as our Daily Tarot Card.

The major arcana card for Virgo, (we are still in Virgo season) The Hermit represents a time of seeking solitude from the rest of the world.

Many world religions have encouraged their spiritual leaders to embrace a life of quiet reflection and solitude. Like the Buddhist monks in the Borobudur Temple or the cloistered Carthusian nuns in France, going within to reconnect with the divine brings inner peace and helps us find our path. Being in a place of contemplative solitude helps the seeker hear the guidance from Spirit without other worldly distractions.

When The Hermit card shows up in a reading, it’s time to retreat from the rest of the world; to be diligent about meditation practices, and listen to your inner voice. Once you find the answers from within, you can shine your brilliant light as a beacon for others.
